Please don't charge for parking. People won't pay and will park further into residential areas and put pressure on small roads.

We should be encouraging people to use the park, not putting them off. You will only push the parking problem somewhere else, Parkside for instance. Parking is a massive issue in this town, let's not make it even worse.

I understand that with demand for the park the maintenance will increase but as a resident of Ampthill, (but the other end of town) this would make it impossible for me to walk my dog there each day.
I think there needs to be another alternative to raise funds. Perhaps sponsors/patrons or government funding?

The parking at Ampthill Park has been free for decades why do they find the need to start to charge now. This will push people to seek alternative parking in near by streets or going elsewhere which will then impact on the hub. This is wrong on every level.

I walk my dog everyday in the park and think it would be outrageous to charge me to walk with my dog in the town where I live after paying extremely high council tax, I would boycott the park and simply walk my dog somewhere else, I know many people who feel the same.
