It's insane to give instructors more coursework without pay. It's bad enough that non-tenure faculty/adjuncts get paid incredibly low, it's shameful to not pay them/exploit to work more hours with ZERO compensation.

This is not beneficial to student AT ALL. The higher the teaching load, the more exhausted instructors are, and the less attention they are able to give to individual students. This 5/5 nonsense embodies all that is wrong with higher education today. Shameful!
