The transit authority confirmed this morning that the night tube services will resume as requested. We have reached the objective and will now shift focus to oversight to ensure the new schedule remains consistent.
The scale of this response has secured a meeting with the transport board for later this week. I am currently finalizing the presentation that outlines our specific requirements for the night service schedule.

Cancelled my Aslef membership. They sell out our terms for a few quid, not happy, the reps just not listening, spouting out nonsense from TFC reps. Make night tube full time they did a great job in helping the service but not with change of our terms. Recruit new night tube next year before it’s launch, simples! It might not even comeback!

This will greatly impact on family members as well as the drivers themselves. There should be a more transparent approach and members voices should be heard.

I was not consulted at all and I am a full time train op. Each member should vote on it. This is the only fair way to do it. Our terms and conditions cannot be changed without our voice being heard first. It is not too late!

Permanent staff strike already for this not to be part of the rosta hence the employment of night tube drivers. This effects our work/life balance. We're also being left in the dark about how and when this is going to start. We the paying members have not been given a say on this matter or a vote considering it was rejected before!

Genuinely, when did any of the full timers who came up with this devestating plan drive a train for 8 hours? When did they work a weekend? When did they work an 8 hour weekend night shift on a train full of drunk aggressive blokes?
They haven't driven trains in decades in some cases, so how can they represent us?

I just left night tube and was so happy to have left. Anyone working night tube can tell you how miserable we are doing those shifts. The union has an obligation to ask their members about such important matters before taking a decision, not sell is down the river at the first opportunity.
