Please fix the food this semester so I can at least eat it before I never have a meal plan again.

Fix the food for the students! This is an embarrassment to the university and an issue that will certainly negatively impact future applications and enrollment. Schools around the country have invested heavily in providing nutritious dining options and food for their students. What’s going on William and Mary?

Our kids are not getting healthy nutrients food from the cafeteria of William and Mary. We would like college to take action against this and provide healthy and nutritious food choices.

No one should be served raw chicken. That is beyond disgusting & terrible. These kids pay a fortune, the food should be acceptable.

Please stop trying to kill my girlfriend with meal plans that don't accommodate her dietary restrictions. Treat the students that are paying you with some humanity and respect.

The food at W&M simply does not meet baseline levels of nutrition. We demand better.

Please offer quality fresh produce including citrus, berries, melon, salads, raw fresh veggies, a variety of lettuces, & smoothies. The leaders of tomorrow need proper nutrition today to fuel their learning & development.

The food is largely inedible. My son says a few times a week he can find something decent, but it's very hit or miss.

I didn’t think much about the food on campus when my daughter received her acceptance into the joint degree program, but I understand it’s awful…. Tuition for W&M Mary is higher than other universities in Virginia so at least the college can serve our students healthy, balanced, warm and identifiable food! A parent of a Freshman, Class of 2026

Please consider benchmarking and learning from the numerous universities that have excellent dining programs that win awards.

Please be consistent with healthy options. Our college savings dollars are precious and limited. Your dining is not delivering value. WM has lost its way to put the students first. The Cafe has such a bad reputation. Our son buys food off campus too much Fix the food please .

I'm a student at W&M. The quality of the food is abysmal, as noted, and students too often go hungry because there aren't enough options that meet their dietary needs (I've known vegetarians who've been given two sides' worth of overcooked vegetables as their only dinner). As long as the university requires any student to carry a meal plan, that meal plan should ensure that the student can eat healthy, good-tasting food; otherwise, the university should acknowledge that their current policy overcharges students for what we receive in the dining halls, and release all of us from any obligation to purchase a meal plan through the school.

Our child has repeatedly pointed out that foods are undercooked (including meats -- chicken). We have personally also noted that even simple items, such as salt shakers are packed to the top, but are soggy and the metal caps rusting and dripping brown liquid. Other concerns include lack of food availability outside of short serving windows that conflict with class timings.

Sodexo should be held accountable to serve safe and healthful food EVERY DAY. If they can't or won't do it...fire them.
