I live for the moment I get to hug my freshman whenever we have a visit, but part of me is heartbroken when I feel how much thinner she is every time. She regularly reports the poor state of W&M food services, and unfortunately I can't make up for those continually missed calories & nutrients no matter how much I feed her when I see her. There is no excuse for this, W&M.

I'm a parent who ate dinner at Sadler in December. Yes, a little disappointing. Cold entrees, unappealing, picked through salad bar, empty drink machines, and Rice Krispie treats for dessert. It's time for a change.

We pay too much, especially as an OOS family to be worried about basics like food!

My son complains about the quality and choices in the dining hall. I thought he was exaggerating because I constantly get on him about eating off of campus. I like most parents can’t afford to pay for a meal plan and also have him eat off of campus. It’s not rocket science. If the company that’s running the dining hall is doing a substandard job get rid of them and bring in another company.

Please do something about the quality of food. My daughter eats yogurt and hard-boiled eggs for dinner every day!

Please do better by our kids, and if you can’t, then don’t make the meal plan mandatory.

I am the mother of a junior, and my husband and I are alumni ourselves. The state of the food available in Sadler is horrifying. My son has lost 10 pounds this year, and he has none to spare. He’s down to just under 140, and he’s 5’10” tall. He mainly subsists on salad and pasta, as the chicken is typically undercooked

With William & Mary being the most expensive public institution of higher learning in Virginia, it ought to at least have edible food! I work extremely hard to give my daughter the best opportunities in life, which includes her time at William & May, but I’m very disappointed about the food services situation. Where do our dollars go??

We believe W&M can do better with on campus food. Nutrition is very important for brain function and overall health.

I was recently informed of the sanitation issues onsite at William and Mary’s dining facilities. My spouse and I pay for our daughter to wat on campus and were very disappointed to hear that the food is below par. Please fix this. Thank you

I am a freshman parent whose son loves William and Mary -except for the food. He has never had a problem with food and is not a picky eater, but he has had issues with digestion after certain meals at school. Any improvement would be wonderful. Thank you.

My daughter has severe food allergies. It has been a struggle to find something at the dining halls that does not have a disclaimer that cross contamination is a possibility.

There has to be a way to improve food that is provided.

I hope William and Mary puts our students' health and well-being in high priority as well as their educations.
