This is black and white to me...educating ourselves to be better horseman and to respect each other by competeing on a fair playing field or finding a good vet to prescribe us drugs so one can fake their way through the pen..not acceptable, especially the mind altering drugs. The NRHA is a great association and I want to see it stay that way.

If a horse isn't sound enough to show without drugs, it shouldn't be shown at all.

We need strict drugs policy to safeguard the horses. We also need more spot testing to enforce it.

All horse sports should be clean

Keep it humane no drugs should be allowed as per human athletics

Unless the NRHA takes this seriously, the repercussions for the sport internationally will be very damaging.

Keep reining clean. Show only the horses that are up to it

I showed years ago and was a very successful rider without drugs for my horses. I am a trainer. I still don't drug my horses. I canceled my NRHA membership and won't be back until they support a more humane environment for the horses; including banning drugs. My business is thriving. I hope more people realize life does not end when they cannot abuse horses. It begins.

Keep it clean

No way that the winner is : the rider/horse having the best chemist !!! Horses are not just a way to earn money and prestige : they are living beings deserving respect and welfare.

The best sound horse, rider and breeder should be able to win and not the best vet! Sport must be clean!
