If we want our sport to keep on growing strict drug policy is a must - and we owe it to our horses as well!

Please do not allow the new policy it is too vague, people should not be able to show an unsound horse by drugging it, the welfare policy is for the welfare of the horses and needs to stay as is.

Drugged horses should be prohibited in the sport, who will be the winner, the rider who can mix the best drugcoctail?

if a horse needs drugs, please do not show them. rest is also important for recovery

This proposal is absolutely the worst thing the NRHA can do. How convienient that it is being proposed at this time. I say bring on the test results!

This proposed rule change puts no limits on what may be prescribed (as long as FDA-approved) and for what purpose. Even though it states that only FDA-approved agents may be used, it does not specify that they need to be used on-label and it does not differentiate between classes of agents that may be used to mask pain and damage the horse's well being.
