Public libraries give people a safe place to congregate. A place to find entertainment that will keep them grounded when the world around them is falling down. They provide services from the very young to the very old. They're fundamental to the communities around them by offering computer services to those who don't have computers, and training in basic job skills. They're education and entertainment and gathering places. Places for politicians to give meetings, for gardening clubs to showcase their works, for tutors to help students. Help by supporting them.
