The Odessa Missouri library is a great resourse for my teenage son. Our community needs our library. Thank you.

It's disgraceful to withhold these funds. we must do all we can to support our educational system.

Many people depend on public libraries for things like job search resources, research for school projects, continuing education programs, election forums, tax forms, technology classes, Internet access, early literacy activities and resources, printing W2 forms if they don't have the ability at home, finding legal forms, access to consumer information, and dozens of other things. Society suffers without libraries.

Gov. Nixon: you withhold funds from higher ed and now libraries? Your actions show you are not willing to invest in the betterment of your state. Be careful: students turn into workers when they graduate, and they may leave Missouri altogether if you continue to show you do not value them.

My daughters and I go to the library every week. The early literacy program are a vital resource for young families.

please keep funding the missouri public libraries. I enjoy going to the library and being able to read books rather than having to purchase every book I read. I find this a great privilege.

Please release funds for Missouri's Public Libraries to continue public access to quality print and digital information, and programming. Without free and unfettered access to information in all its forms we cannot educate and maintain an informed electorate, and, in turn, our democratic republic.
