In an era when prices are skyrocketing, jobs are hard to find, and everything is going digital, we need libraries more than ever. From entertainment to education to a quiet place to study, libraries provide a place where the underpaid populace can seek relief from our chaotic society.

Release the money. The libraries are exactly where I WANT to see my tax dollars go because everyone benefits.

Our libraries sprovide a much needed service to our communities. From programs for toddlers to assistance for those searching for jobs, or trying to fill out tax forms. No matter what time of day I visit my local library it is busy.

A nation with access to public libraries is a smarter nation. Libraries provide better morale for communities overall.

Libraries are by far one of the best publicly funded resources available to ANYONE. It is a great source for learning, community and building friendships. With all due respect, we are tired of broken promises from our government on every level. Release the funds that were allocated for OUR libraries.

By withholding these funds, Governor Nixon is restricting or denying vital library services to Missourians who have already paid for them. His actions (or inaction, at this point) will negatively impact entire communities, including students and job-seekers who cannot otherwise afford the many services that libraries provide.
