This is completely unacceptable. People rely on our libraries. As a teacher, I access hundreds of books for my students to read every day.

Libraries are an essential part of all life. Knowledge is Power and free knowledge helps empower the citizens of this country. Many are too poor to own books or have Internet at home and libraries are the best way for people to have access to these important tools. There is nothing more precious than when a child gets their first library card or that adult who just learned how to read goes and checks out their first book.
