I tutor children in various libraries, and if Governor Nixon could just spend an afternoon on a school day in a library, he could see how important it is to keep public libraries alive and thriving.

Libraries need funding to cover a variety of mediums and to serve their communities. Reducing funding this dramatically takes us back to the 18th century and widens the gap between the rich and the rest of us. Librairies is where I've gone to seek answers when troubled or wanting more info or just a good read. Even with all the devices out there I continue to use my library. Many of my friends who cannot afford WiFi relay on their library to access the net and deal with everyday chores.

Libraries need funding to cover a variety of mediums and to serve their communities. Reducing funding this dramatically takes us back to the 18th century and widens the gap between the rich and the rest of us. Librairies is where I've gone to seek answers when troubled or wanting more info or just a good read. Even with all the devices out there I continue to use my library. Many of my friends who cannot afford WiFi relay on their library to access the net and deal with everyday chores.
