Libraries are an important part of the local economies. At my local library, thousands of patrons use library resources - internet especially - to aid in their jobhunting. Students need the library, as well.

Cutting the budget of libraries during a recession is like cutting your staff of doctors in a war zone! taking further money out of the educational possibilities for your state will only result in an increased dependence on welfare and government assistance by the people who use the library to do basic tasks like apply for jobs or learn a new trade via online school. Please, for the love of learning and all that is right in the world, don't do this terrible budget cut!
