Ask the Governor to Release Funds for Missouri's Public Libraries

Libraries are often the only means for community members to have access to internet, books, magazines, and movies. It is a valuable resource and defunding it to impractical levels only hurts those already disadvantaged the most.

Please release funds for missouri public libraries. I am homeschooled and go to the library everyday to get my work done. MCPL is the only place available within my town that provides the needed recourses and an ideal study environment. No good can come from limiting both elder and young minds from numerous new information and knowledge. Please fully rethink this decision. If I had a say, I would request for the libraries to not only receive this funding, but also to be open on everyday- including Sundays. :)

Being a fundamental source of knowledge and creativity, continuing to fund libraries in the ways that they need to be funded is essential to the prosperity of both youths and adults alike. People can't survive on Netflix and Wikipedia...

This is costing roughly a few dollars per tax payer per year. This is unacceptable. Keep library funding.
