I enjoy having a good library. I don't want my library to lose it's wonderful quality just because Nixon said so.

As a public librarian this is a travesty being committed against Missouri's citizens.

Libraries are not luxuries! They provide vital services for all citizens, especially children of the poor, and elders living on fixed incomes.

Please save the libraries!! Without access to all that today's libraries have to offer, many individuals and communities will suffer.

I'm a teacher in a rural area. If our library is taken away, my students will be unable to read in the summer when they're already most likely to lose their level of literacy. That makes our future pretty bleak.

The governor's veto discriminates home educators in Missouri. This action unfairly effects a disproportionally high number of the homeschooling community who use their local libraries extensively. Those same families pay their taxes without deriving any direct benefit from the public education system. Release the funds.

Libraries are often the only means for community members to have access to internet, books, magazines, and movies. It is a valuable resource and defunding it to impractical levels only hurts those already disadvantaged the most.
