Artificial colors and dyes are found today in many products: Children's Tylenol, Baby Orajel, cough syrups, and of course countless foods. These dyes being put into our medicines and foods often have severe side effects after long term use. I have personally noticed my son's asthma worsen with Red 40. There is absolutely no need for these dyes to be used. Continued use of these dyes may also worsen behavior for many of our children. Ask the FDA to ban all artificial colors so that we can have healthier children!

Ban any chemicals that are harmful and that are banned in other countries. Why do we continue to do this when the science proves all these chemicals are harmful??? Kids literally eat these chemicals and if you dont want your kids smoking then you wouldn't want your kids eating these chemicals. These chemicals don't even add flavor to the foods and even if they did, they are still harmful and there are alot more other alternatives

My daughter gets so hyper after she eats anything with dyes in it and it takes hours for her to calm down. i hate that these are in candy and drinks that seem fine for kids. why is this even allowed?? stop poisoning our kids for the sake of bright colors!
