Stealing from anyone is unacceptable, but from the food bank is a new level of low. They should be prosecuted for all their thefts period.

It is so frustrating that our local La Paz county sheriff's department is unwilling to step in! These people are now armed and dangerous and still they have done NOTHING. Our quite neighborhood is no longer a safe place! I urge everyone to rally together and stop this family from continuing to reek havoc in our community.

The Water Department has been burglarized twice by this family. The first on 6-17-2024, Case number 240600693 and the second about a year after. We have been frustrated as the community is with the lack of action by the County. We received a letter from the prosecuting attorney, which at the time was Rachel Shackelford who is not the County Attorney stating that: "the La Pax County Attorney's Office has declined to proceed with prosecution of the above-named defendant because there is no reasonable likelihood of conviction." Not that they were not guilty but that they were too lazy to bring the case to prosecution despite an overwhelming bulk of evidence that they committed the crime. This crime netted them $10,000. Fortunately, the water department was insured but they stole from the community as the community owns the water department.

This has personally affected me & my work place. Not only once but twice.. Now my friend.. please get these thiefs out of the community

My family lives in Wenden and as their mom I worry about the well fair of how safe this area is for them. I really hope these people can be prosecuted to make our homes feel safe again.

The county attorney needs to do a better job of actually getting justice for the people.
