Ask the City of Camas for more firefighters on fire engines

In support of my husband and our fire family!

I live in Camas. Our EMS needs more hands on deck. Camas is quickly growing, yet we have not seen our emergency services grow with it. Its overdue.

We travel to and visit family in Camas. We would like to feel safe while we are there and want our family to be safe living there.

Please follow the advice of the ECPFF union and provide funding for a minimum of 3 firefighters so they may do their jobs.

I’m concerned that city of Camas has left the taxpayers open for paying fines and lawyer fees or being sued for breaking Washington state law regarding hiring enough firefighters to staff engenines. Evidently not enough to staff safely to rescue someone from a fire ie3. Or to fight a property fire ie 4 Please don’t leave residents business owners firefighters or taxpayers at risk a look at population growth is needed that hasn’t been considered in regardes to needing more fire stations. Camas is known for being a safe place to raise a family and run a business but recent events put that reputation at risk for losing that.

This needs to be fixed for everyones safety. We need additional firefighters!!

We need to be proactive about protecting our firefighters and residences.

Family lives in Camas - We want them safe!!

I support four firefighters on each and every call at a minimum. Our community and our firefighters are at risk. Adding firefighters asap is the just and right thing to do. Thank you.

YES!! We need more Firefights in ALL of East Clark Co.. Trying to send other engines for back up is not really cost effective! Leaves other areas unprotected.. or needed someone to back them... Vicious circle costing more in the long run. Send 1 engine with everything & Everyone they need to do their jobs SAFELY & affectably

To the City Councils. If you don’t meet the minimum required manning for Fire Dept the citizens will hold you accountable for future injuries, this is what’s called a key causal decision when a mishap happens and hind sight shows where decisions were made that were detrimental to the successful response to an event tht caused injuries death or destruction of property.

I live north of Camas about 6 miles; part of East County Fire and Rescue, which works closely with Camas/Washougal fire departments. I support this petition for ALL the fire departments in east Clark County.

I urge the City Council to higher more firefighters to keep them & us safe.
