Ask the City of Camas for more firefighters on fire engines

My neighbors get more than 2 people showing up to mow their lawn and clean their yard. Yet our firefighters respond with just 2 people to fires, car wrecks, cardiac arrests, trail and water rescues, HazMat spills etc. Putting more people on our fire engines just makes sense. Do the right thing... follow the law, protect the people you were sworn to serve. Let these brave men and women do their job, and give them the support, tools, and manpower needed to do their job.

We need more firefighters so that we can do our jobs safely and effectively.

We live north of the city limits, but often are in the city limits doing business or traveling the roads.

I live in the city of Camas, love everything about it. I am in full support of the city to properly staff our fire department with the right amount of people. This is for their own safety as well as it is the law.

We need more firefighters on a rig to every call. It's imporant to keep our firemen safe and allow them to do their job saving lives.

This practice MUST STOP! It is absolutely maddening that our city government allow this! YOU ARE FAILING OUR COMMUNITY!!!!

My son is a firefighter in Camas and he deserves a safer work environment. His wife and kids deserve to have safety measures in place to ensure his safe return from work. Camas deserves a safer community

East County is growing at a rapid rate, it is negligent to expect firefighters and EMTs to safely and efficiently service this area when they are under staffed.

We need more f.d Not acceptable! Why is this even an issue to hire more? Council, What if it was your house burning ??

With the way Camas is growing, we need all the help we can get to keep our local community safe.

Please give them the tools/staff they need to do the job

My address is Camas, I live on the edge of Vancouver. I also work in CVICU at the hospital and take care of cardiac arrest patients brought in by first responders. These are difficult situations , please give these people who are dedicated to helping our community (YOU) be safe.
