Please protect our youth and families. The government should not dictate the type of therapy that a person can and can't receive. I view this as a violation of the first amendment for free speech by a therapist, counselor, psychologist, etc.

Parents are the best advocates for their children, and need access to all therapy options available, in order to help determine what is best for their child. Please protect our freedom to choose. And please don't allow the State or any Board to take over the parenting of our precious children.

Please do not allow this rule to pass. If it is truly free speech, we should allow youth to hear all both sides and then decide! There is much confusion in the teenagers years for all youth, but immediately jumping into something that may have just interest in and are trying to decide for themselves, and not allow them to hear different views, seems to be harmful to the fullest extent.

As an individual who personally struggled with gender confusion issues as a child, and as a counselor, I KNOW how critical it is that our children and teens have full access to professional, effective mental health support surrounding these issues. Because I did NOT receive desperately needed counseling early in my life, I suffered severe emotional and mental health consequences that lasted for many decades into my adult life.

Parents and children have the right to explore ALL options available, not just what is politically correct. Please listen to the state legislature - they are the voice of the people of UT. True freedom means freedom to explore any and all therapy options. We protect our children and families by giving them the freedom to choose.

Many question their lives. Please let them have someone to talk to. I think most therapists would refuse to let them talk about afraid of breaking some law. Let them talk and receive the help they need! Why would the government be involved in this? Please don't support therapy ban.

Any action taken after a child decides to question their sexuality has the potential to be harmful. Case by case determinations by the therapist, the child, the child's parents and anyone else the foregoing chose to consult have the best probability of meeting the child's needs. Stifling or promoting certain viewpoints in a way different from the treatment of other viewpoints will unduly restrict all parties in determining the best course of action and will probably politicize treatment options and increase societal division. Neither of these outcomes would be helpful to the child or society.

Please consider substitute language to the rule you are considering to vote upon so that LGBT Youth are protected as are other youth, their parents, and their therapists.

Sex changes are dangerous and a person wanting this need to have counseling against it they need to be told all pro and con it isn't right to not know and understand what happens. They need proper help Psychologist needs to answer questions in the way that the child understands the seriousness of what happens. And that this won't happen quickly there not very many doctors that know how to do this and there will be fake doctors who say they know how to do it and jus mess with you about it and take your .oney and leave your child in a bad way don't pass this law thanks kbh

Please allow all minors, parents and professionals to retain their rights! Protect all of our children! No more vague language that leads only to homosexual support, misinformation, lack of information, high risk behavior, and/or outside regulation of what a child can, can't or needs to talk about with his or her therapist.
