Ask AAFP to Reject Recent Support of Abortion

I oppose abortion of the unborn, euthanasia of the elderly and infirm, use of drugs for recreation, and limitations on the practice of medicine by governmental force. I strongly believe that physicians must be governed by free medical societies that recognize the consensus opinion of the members

Abortion is murder, of the most vulnerable among us. Our constitution guarantees the right to life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We must speak up for the voiceless. Abortion is murder.

I’m not a physician, rather a PT student who knows many family physicians and it is abundantly clear that a pro-abortive stance is not supported by all physicians nor is abortion healthcare to begin with.

How can it be that pets have more rights and better care than unborn human infants?

I am a member of the AAFP.

I pursued family practice as a path to heal and not harm. Unborn children are within the spectrum of patients we serve. Please uphold our integrity as healers. Don't allow "political correctness/pressures" to infect and ruin our specialty. Let us continue to be advocates for all members of the family.

This is one of three major issues that the AAFP, or special interest groups within the AAFP, are either considering or advocating for change. The other two issues are euthanasia with passive (or even active) support for physician assisted suicide (participant in killing) and active promotion of LGBTQ lifestyles, even at AAFP conference. These go far beyond treating all individuals with dignity and respect. These are appalling changes which I can not support.

We must value all life at all stages.

Abortion is murder.

I quit the AAFP a few years ago after about 30 years of membership due to the stance on Contraception and gay marriage. This is further affirmation, that the AAFP is headed down the path of death. We are physicians and are called to be healers and support life, not end it!

The solution to any problem cannot be to murder the child!!!
