I have been a member of AAFP for over 3 decades. I appreciate much of what they do. But if they begin endorsing abortion, I will re-examine whether I should continue my membership. I may join the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons instead.

I am a family physician and choose not to be an AAFP member because I do not trust the Academy on such political issues. Please gain my trust by at minimum showing nonpartisanship.

I am a member of the AAFP board certified and a member of the CMA (Catholic Medical association). I am adamant about my opposition to abortion. Please consider reviewing the once strong support of your membership physicians.

I am no longer an AAFP member due to the special interest group involvement. I would like to see AAFP become less biased and more sensitive in public policy statements. As a Family Physician, I disagree with the direction AAFP is continuing to head. Please redirect and reconsider this policy.

I have to agree with Dr. Rice, I left AAFP because I cannot in good conscience give money to AAFP as long as they pursue this direction. If AAFP will steer away from this radical anti fetal trajectory, I, too, will strongly consider becoming a member again.

I strongly urge members of the AAFP to recognize the responsibility we have to all our patients, born and pre-born, as well as members with varying opinions on this matter in creating policy

Stop advocating for killing and making people insensitive to killing. Do not be surprised at losing members when you use their membership to take repugnant positions such as killing pre-born babies. There is enough to do in family medicine without permitting AAFP to become a pawn of political forces that literally nauseate many of your members. Stick to core family medicine.

Please reject your recent support of abortion. You should be for the culture of life not the culture of death. Thank you!

Luckly for me I discontinued my membership several years ago so I don't have to do so NOW!
