As a FP physician for 39 years this issue is deeply personal to me.

I gave up my membership in the AAFP tars ago due to their radical anti-life policies Do not represent my point of view in the least.

As an AAFP member I want my academy to work to decrease maternal and infant mortality in America - especially in rural areas. After 30 years of family practice with obstetrics in rural SC I am not convinced that these problems are related to current abortion laws.

We have reliable studies that prove life begins at conception. We need to preserve life, especially fetal life.

I have been an AAFP member for over 25 years, and the moral changes and lack of adherence to traditional medical ethics (within the AAFP) is frankly disturbing and very sad.

I agree whole-heartedly with the sentiments expressed in this petition. I request the AAFP strive to faithfully represent the views of many of its members who believe in the sacredness of life and the value and vulnerability of the unborn.
