The Asics Gel Lyte 3 is one of the most iconic silhouettes in the sneaker collectors world. In the last few years it has undergone a radical shape change which includes a rounder toe that points upward (known as banana toe), shorter mid-panel and shorter heel wrap giving it a very undesirable look.This petition is to let Asics Tiger know that there are thousands of dissatisfied collectors who want the #OGshape back. Hopefully together we can make an impact and get our beloved model back.

The Gel Lyte III OG Shape is historic ever since. Asics nowadays keeps launching unnecessary collab with boring colorway and anomaly shape. The "Orange Koi" is an obvious and particular example. #OGSHAPE
The new banana shape stops me from buying newer releases. No matter how strong a concept on a GL III is. We have enough dad shoes out there. This face lift went totally wrong. PLEASE bring back the OG shape
I have been an avid ASICS collector for years buying nearly 50 plus pairs of ASICS runners alone. In recent years I have been less interested in buying primarily because of the noticeable drop in product quality, namely the changes to the shape.
Asics please make this happen. I have purchased more than 60 pairs of Asics. It should be a priority to ensure manufacturing creates the product the BUYER wants and deserves. We all invested a lot in Asics and its time this not small but HUGE issue gets addressed.

I rock many ASICS, but I have had gel 3s since I was a kid because of the lifted toe box. There is so many color ways on the 3s I want to ride with but they look weird in my feet with lifted toe box.1
