It's her property that she pays taxes on. She should be able to have a studio without big brother saying no.

If the business is properly insured and has adequate parking, why should the council mind?

There's no reason not to have a studio. If you're getting taxes and it's bringing a business in, why not?

Why would anyone stand in the way of someone trying to help bring art and education to a community?

Ashley is both an excellent artist, but an excellent instructor as well. Passing the skills and knowledge to future generations.

Supporting our neighbor in their case to be refunded any additional charges from their original permit costs and to be able to have a stand alone accessory structure with separate meter to avoid excessive costs to add to their homes capacity.

Thankfully I’ve not heard of this in other Texas cities. Let artists be artists and let them practice their art in their space.

Ashley deserves to have a functioning workshop to bring her art and pottery expertise to the community. Kilns require much power to run. Supporting local artists is important and should be important to the city of Waxahachie.
