Ashby skatepark has not been maintained for the last 3 years and has been vandalised several times, consequently the skatepark has become a serious health and safety issue. We feel money has been spent in other area's and the skatepark has been neglected. The skatepark is a family area with a play area next to it. This brings a lot of family's into the area during the long summer evenings, summer holidays and weekends. We feel action needs to taken and our petition needs to be looked at seriously as we are just a minority of the people that use this area that the council are providing us, however unsafe it may be
