This is absolutely bad for business, bad for home owners, visitors, tenants, the community and everyone. The priority is always for residents and tenants in regards of anything; these are the people who finance this community, or any community for that matter, and I don’t see guests paying dues or property taxes! This is the kind of policy that will discourage potential home owners from buying at Ashburn Square and potential tenants from renting at Ashburn Square.

I am not in favor of this ridiculous proposal of having to register vehicles. We are not a gated community. Make us gated and I will agree.

You all should be calling a special meeting to elect new members as the current board members are NOT making astute decisions.

We are not in favour of this Parking proposal and Registration guidelines. In our opinion, these rules are not in the best interests of the residents.

These new "rules" are ridiculous. I do agree that there is a problem with street parking but other than that, the other ones are garbage. The pass system is not realistic.....(I think there's a little more they are after). I will not be putting a sticker on my vehicle. I'm in the service, and these rules are worse than what I encounter everyday. So basically you have to be single, or a newlywed with 0 possessions in order for this to work. I have a bigger motorcycle, tools, cabinetry, these huge trash receptacles and I use a portion of my garage for storage. I guess I'll need to trade in for a smart car because that's the only car that will fit. As was said before, we as a community need to be proactive and vote the board out. They are obviously drunk on their own power. I foresee a huge surge of owners/renters leaving this development. No adult wants to be treated like a child. Sorry for the rant........

Make more parking in the back!! And open the other entrance!! Stop the towing it's ridiculous, we can only have visitors until a certain time then they have to go because there is no parking... Where is this extra money we paying going?

I thought the same thing about guests Elizabeth....not to mention that, rental car companies don't tell you the make, model, and color of the car they are giving to you until you get there to rent it. So.....when my dad flies in and rents a car, how do I get him a decal considering we need to give 48 hours notice? Also, he's only allowed to stay 3 days? Really? Who are these people that they believe they have the right to tell my dad how many days he can stay to visit his grandchildren?!!!!!

My wife and I both work. My daughter goes to college. We have 3 vehicles at home. We pay $240.00 to HOA a month and I can not park one vehicle in a guess parking? REALLY !!! 7 years we have been living here and I have yet to see someone pressure wash the mildew from all of our buildings.

We pay our HOA dues every month in full. Is our $30 increase about those who are NOT paying and you are not doing anything about it? Or is it because of the squatters that inhabited housing in this community, living for free? With 5 to 6 people in their household, taking 4 or 5 of our "GUEST" parking. Yet when we call or email, your only response is, " there is nothing we can do." Should we also STOP paying HOA?

Please talk to your neighbors and get as many people as possible to sign the petition. We would like at least 250. Please be at the HOA meeting on the first Monday of the March.

I think the parking issue in our neighborhood is unreal. I think the board is going about this issue in a very inappropriate manor. There are ways to fix the parking issue such as: building a bigger parking area, extending our driveways on either side of our houses. Has anybody even suggested moving our play ground to a safer area in the open field so we can build a parking lot in place of the play ground? The board needs to actually us the money to save for a bigger parking area instead of using it to pay for the towing company. The towing company is rude and too excessive. We are a neighborhood......not a prison and the board and HOA members need to start treating us like actual members of society. The "rules/guideline" have gotten completely out of hand and someone seriously needs to get a life instead of watching what every neighbor does (especially when you walk your dog).

I am one of the oldest residents in this community and the guidelines are absolutely ridiculous! Are we living in a timeshare or resort that we have to seriously give 48hr notice to guests and do they really expect to send us something to keep on their care within that timeframe? I am very curious about this "gated community" that they promised when I originally moved in, especially considering the amount of traffic that comes in and out of here. Can we at least get speed bumps? My in-laws pay under $200 for there HOA at an older townhome community. They pressure wash yearly, provide any painting of the buildings if needed, it's a gated community with speed bumps, and they have covered patios! There are many areas that parking can be added, but instead they want to enforce unrealistic guidelines. You would think they would try to maintain their homeowners vs pushing us out to look for better living conditions.

These guidelines are outrageous. Kinda silly that you need to ask for permission for a friend or relative to stay at your home in our community!

Some of us have more than 3 cars that we pay for. A single car gargae and small driveway is not enough space.

Apparently, teh board intends to enforce the parking rule without allowing us owners to be heard first. Of course, they will say we had an opportunity to be heard when we chose not to sit through the entire long meetings listening to them talk amongst themselves without having received an agenda in advance.

if the board won't consider revisiting this issue maybe we aren't talking loud enough. $240.00/month per unit, I see 119 signatures on here but we'll use 100 for simple math. that's $24,000/month. let's say we skip our next month of HOA dues maybe their hearing will get better, if not we move on to month 2 and so on, by month 6 or 7 the HOA will go bankrupt, the property manegement company will drop us for non payment maybe that will get their attention.

If they play games you can play games too; just need to consult with the right attorney on this.Take them to court and stop dues payment pending litigation. That will get them.

My last post was deleted because I am only a renter but here we go again. All of the owners and residents need to show up at the March meeting and speek up until we are heard. The owners and residents need to get a lawyer and seek an injunction until we are heard. I encourage all owners to place your hoa fees into an escrow account until this has geen settled. Thanks for hearing me until I am deleted.nto

This place is becoming less like a neighborhood and more like an apartment complex. Sometimes I don't even like living here.
