As Town Center Parents, we want our kids to stay at PVA

If future growth rate is a concern, Plan B offers a lower future % increase than Plan A. Why upend and shift kids away from central location for a short-term solution. The continued growth/expansion/new residents/children in the county will continue further south (central Nocatee has been built out).
Plan B offers more flexibility as that growth continues. With Plan A, we will need another rezone in 3-4 years. As a parent I would prefer our children to be more centrally located, and not rezoned as a temporary solution to balance a capacity problem in the short-term.

We live closer to PVA than anyone in willow cove and there is no logical reason to move our children to the new school and allow willow cove to go to PVA. If anyone should move to the new school it should be willow cove as they are closer to the new school and we are closer to PVA.

Town Center kids should stay at PVA, we already had many changes this year!

I want my kids to stay at PVA. It makes no sense to send us to a new school when Willowcove is geographically closer. This will be some kids 3rd school change since this neighborhood existed. It destroys the entire concept of being a gold cart friendly neighborhood when you are sending us 9 miles away! The plan to rezone does not consider the children’s well being and should not be considered. Stay at PVA.

Enough upheaval for children already this year.. They don’t need to be uprooted from the school and teachers they know.

Ridiculous that Lakeside could be split

I am opposed to our children in Lakeside changing school to the new one in Crosswater. The kids in PVA should remain there until they finish the grades there. With COVID they have had enough to deal with!

The new school will be more than twice as far away from Town Center neighborhoods than PVA. It doesn't make sense.

It makes no sense to zone us to a school almost 9 miles away/19 minute drive when we have 3 schools closer (PVA / OPE / VRA).

PVA is closer to the Town Center neighborhoods than the new school. Neighborhoods further away are staying at PVA and the town center is possibly not.

No reason to send Town Center kids to a school farther away.

Please don’t move us again, we are so much closer to PVA. It doesn’t make sense to move us to new school.

Not a PVA parent, but SJCSD has to admit, their projections are never even close to being correct. Moving Willowcove from VRA to PVA unnecessarily contributed to the overcrowding at PVA--because your "projections" were ridiculous. Don't make the same mistake again and fail to consider future construction like you did with PVA. Leave Town Center at PVA, i guarantee the new school will fill up just like PVA did.
