A year ago Jim Kelly was on his deathbed with cancer, and couldn't even think of getting out of bed, let alone attending his football camp for kids...but a week ago he was throwing TD passes to little children at his football camp.
He deserves this award more than the recipient...and as much as any other human being alive.
You have absolutely no clue how this man has changed so many lives in Western NY...he is the true definition of a hero and a role model.

Caitlyn Jenner can be congratulated on finding her truth after all these years, but she's not the first transgendered person to make that choice, but that was her PERSONAL choice.
Ashe was a humanitarian, use that award to recognize people who are humanitarians! You cheapen its value when you give it to anyone who's just had more attention in the media. You dishonor his legacy and it makes me angry!
