I absolutely support Ms. Jenner & this is certainly something with which she has struggled with for some time, but there are examples of courage that go far beyond the steps Ms. Jenner has taken so far. Also her accolades have been bountiful & pervasive. There are other examples of courage which ALSO deserve such acknowledgements. Ones that our major media syndicates don't bother to present. Rise above ESPN. Be the change.

Lauren Hill should win the award for this year. Caitlyn Jenner had a great career, but that has no bearing on this year. The award is given yearly for that athlete that deserves it each year. Lauren deserves it this year.

Bruce Jenner is not courage, courage is a person fighting cancer, courage is a hero from war, courage is a homeless person begging for money. Courage isn't an Olympic gold medalist transgender, what about all the other transgenders, what about their courage, because Bruce Jenner is famous he gets an award, NO ITS BULLSHIT! !

I agree what Bruce Jenner does takes courage, but Lauren Hill was fighting cancer and continued to play. She raised an incredible amount of money. This young woman never lost courage

I think it's absurd that Bruce Jenner is receiving the Arthur Ashe award for Courage. what did he do that was so brave? there were a few thousand transgender people who came before him. I feel like this has nothing to do with him being courageous, it has all to do with the ratings.
