Mahad Hassan, a notorious criminal who committed heinous crimes during Abdi Iley's reign in Ethiopia's Somali region, illegally entered the U.S. through the Mexican border. On August 4, 2018, Mahad Hassan is alleged to have been personally involved in a violent attack in Fiiq town, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia. The attack targeted Christian civilians, resulting in the deaths of children and mothers. The victims’ only apparent “crime” was their Christian faith.

After Iley's fall in 2018, Hassan developed a serious mental illness due to the horrific crimes he committed. He was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Addis Ababa, where he spent two years before fleeing to the U.S.

Hassan currently lives in Minneapolis. We are informing law enforcement agencies that he poses an immediate danger to U.S. citizens.
