He was member of notorious Somali Region Liyuu police paramilitary and he also worked with the position of Hamero District finance officer, during his stay in these areas raped innocent under age girls, murder and killing of number youth whom they related with ONLF cells. He was one of the top leaders who burned Jigjiga Christian church and killing of church priests.

Mahad Hassan, is criminal who committed crimes during Abdi Iley's reign in Ethiopia's Somali region, he s alleged to have been personally involved in a violent attack in Fiiq town, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia. The attack targeted Christian civilians, resulting in the deaths of children and mothers. The victims’ only apparent “crime” was their Christian faith. As Somali community we requesting Us government to arrest mahad for his crime to get justice innocent women and children he killed intentionally
