My name is Arnold Penner and I have been a member of the Friars for over 20 years. The most inportant thing is that this club is a very important part of my life.
I am here almost every day for lunch and attend several of the functions throughout the year. I am a former board member and a member of the foundation.
In my professional life, I have been a real estate investor for over 40 years and have a great understanding of how to run a business, which the club acrually is. I think that this makes me qualified to be a board member.
My desire to be on the board again is that I want to improve the club to where it will become a premiere club in New York City. The Friars has a great reputation and I would like to help keep it that way. I would like you to vote for me.

This petition is being signed and submitted to the Scribe of the Club no later than August 15, 2016 pursuant to Article IV, Section 10, paragraph (d) and Article VI, Section 4 of the Club's Constitution."

The level of support indicates a clear mandate for the changes I have proposed for our board. I am currently preparing the formal nomination documents for delivery to the Scribe to ensure our submission meets all procedural requirements.

Of all the Friars, Arnold Penner is one of the most genuine, authentic, and philanthropic guys. He takes his responsibilities seriously and always has new ideas. A man of values with a great business mind.
Any friend of Magda Karz is one who garners my utmost respect hence ARNOLD who is so admired has my endorsement.
Arnold is a very successful businessman, a very charitable individual, and a mensch. The Friars would truly benefit from having a man of his caliber on the board. And he's from the Bronx.
I have known Arnold Penner for over 40 years now and can honestly say that with his business expertise, commitment and passion for The Friars Club, he would be an excellent candidate to serve on the Board of Governors. I highly recommend him.

Arnold is absolutely right about needing fresh eyes on the board. He has the experience to fix what is broken.
