Enough development in our area. We moved to Cary 8 yrs ago and all we see are more and more developments. Qe do not need more commercial space. Let them build on NC55.

I strongly oppose development of this property to include a 24/7 grocery store, clear cutting land, and encouraging traffic and urban sprawl among our neighborhoods. We are not interested in further development of commercial property among our residences.

this rezoning is unnecessary because there are too many grocery stores in the area. Further, the increased traffic would pose serious safety concerns for the neighborhoods. Do we really need/want another Publix? This residential neighborhood should not be blighted with multi-story commercial buildings. The area should not be rezoned.

Please do not allow this development! Is it really necessary to build on every corner and square foot of natural land? Enough already!

Do not rezone!!! The project across the street with Walgreen's hasn't been completed yet, why would we need another commercial area?
It is NOT ok to have a commercial area adjacent to a red identical one.

I disagree with the rezoning of the Lewter property at Carpenter Fire and green level church . leave some nature in our area please! Too much building in a tight area will lead to congestion and overcrowding and no natural beauty.

The Lewter Property plan looks horrible for our neighborhood. And I understand that it is identical to the plan across the street that is now on hold!

will you not stop until every tree in Cary is cut down and we look like Chicago? We have cars and can drive 5 miles to a shopping center. We don't need more!!!!!

Folks - a few factual points for you to consider:
1. The property will be developed by someone for something.
2. Given the layout of the land, if residential is built it would most likely be townhomes or apartments. This type of development would also require retaining walls / BMPs.
2. Regarding the connection via Northlands Drive - per Town of Cary ordinance, WHATEVER is built on the Lewter property will have this connection. Given NC DOT guidelines with the existing median, the connection will not be eliminated.
3. Town of Cary will not allow development in wetlands.
4. Consider working WITH the developer and Town of Cary to limit size of development.
5. Yes, I live in Amberly. And many people in Amberly and surrounding areas are supportive of non-residential on the Lewter Property.
Again, these are facts for you to consider.

I would like for our neighborhood to remain quiet and calm. I would also like for it to be safe for our children to play at ease. I oppose this plan.
