Petition to Arkansas State University
The subject matter of this petition is the provision of a reasonable deadline for the previously approved Arkansas State University Rugby Club facilities.
The following petitioners ask Arkansas State University to provide a reasonable deadline for the previously approved rugby facilities. This action would benefit ASU in multiple ways:
- It will provide a safer environment for the students participating in rugby activities.
- It will provide a suitable atmosphere and basic necessities for fans, players, and visiting teams.
- It will ensure the continued success and education of current and future rugby players attending the university.
- The university will garner greater notoriety within the rugby community, the highest growing sports community in America; resulting in an early investment in a great future marketing asset.
- It will provide an opportunity to be considered as an Olympic training facility for future US Rugby 7s teams, thus providing unique extra-curricular opportunities for students enrolled in the college of Education and Behavioral Sciences.

How many national titles as AState won in its history? How many of those were won by its rugby team? Nuff said! Please give them the facility they deserve
Current and future players deserve a facility, ASU Rugby represents the University with great class and dignity.
These guys are good enough to produce future Eagles. They need the facilities to make it happen.
ASU had an opportunity to become a USA Rugby’s Olympic Development Academy (ODA, but because of the lack of commitment for facilities, lost the chance. With facilities (or the committted funding), ASU may be able to approach USA Rugby again. UALR was recently named as an ODA for women's rugby. This had the support of the Little Rock mayor. Jonesboro could benefit in addition to ASU. Please show your support and commitment.
Red Wolves Rugby serves the ASU Brand .... Current Poor rugby facilities = Poor ASU Brand. ASU Leadership has the opportunity to start a new Rugby Era and forge a sporting legacy....

I am very proud of our rugby students. They have worked hard and have had an incredible season this year. Let's keep them strong!
