Every sport player has a equal right to prove themselves and also small/unknown games like these Will get recognition when the world will know about the Legends of the game

I think only chess and shooting deserve for arjuna award.

Hope the Hon PM takes note of the contribution that the chess players have made by representing the nation at the highest level. Chess today is followed in many countries and for a fact our players starting from legendary Vishy has been the face of the country in geographies where people barely knew about India and what Indians are capable of! I think they deserve the award.

Chess players require encouragement as well as the other sportspersons. Not even a single media channel showed that India has reached the quarterfinals of the chess Olympiad. The award will not only encourage the players but also would give them the must required recognition for the fantastic sport. #ARJUNAforCHESS.
