Recognition to the chess players will encourage the chess fraternity and added motivation for upcoming players too. I believe that Indian chess team are performing so well everytime and they shall be awarded and respected.

This is so shameful to know the dearth of Arjuna Award for Chess players. If you think that Cricket or Football or Athletics have the most competition, kindly check your figures right. Is it simply because Chess players have no time for politics off the board?
