It is surprising that with so many current grandmasters in India, no is awarded Arjuna award for past 7 years. Hopefully this petition brings the prestigious game of chess gains the popularity it deserves

Like other games and player of other players, chess players and chess needs to be recognized. Arjun Award act as the motivation to the players and will enhance their performance as it give them imminence confidence.

The Indian player did played a great game today against china and it is very good to see the win were taken from both of our junior players. The chess player should be supported as they are representing india only. They have achived and made india proud. CHESSSS PLAAYERSSS OPPPP.

Considering the huge number of talents in Indian chess Arjuna Award is a must to encourage these talents. Effort and energy required in chess no less than any other sport! Let's make India the Brain of the Future!
