Please encourage Chess in India, as this is one of the few sports we are good at and we do well in international arena quite consistently.

Number of Indian players are making the country proud across the globe. When I walk into a chess club outside India, I get lot of respect even before I start playing. Thanks to my country men. They deserve the award for making India look better on the world map.

Chess is one of the ancient games of India and definitely needs recognition as same as other sports.
