It would be immoral to leave such a vast area of Scotland uncovered by trauma care

While the majority of the population of Scotland live in the central belt there are many who live too far from that area to survive the journey after major trauma. It would appear that this is another austerity measure driving a very negative outcome

Why is it we are told that Aberdeen is not even on the table to speak about getting a trauma centre.

Shame on the SNP in planning to deprive Aberdeen, and the North East, of a facility which is equally as vital here, as it is in their vote catchment heartland.

As part of a front line accident & emergency ambulance crew in the North-East of Scotland. I believe it would be detrimental to patient care not to have a major trauma centre at ARI.

The Central Belt is to the SNP what The South East of England is to the Tories. They are only interested in courting popularity there. The rest of us are expected to just take what they choose to give us, and who is to complain in the one-party state that we live in.

It would seem that the SNP government are backtracking on this promise. Aberdeen has been a major centre of input to Scotland's finances, and deserves to have its own Trauma Centre and expertise for the safeguarding of human life which has the same value everywhere.

More important to have a trauma centre in Aberdeen which covers a large area. Especially when the central belt will have two or even three if Dundee gets one.

There is no way that ARI should not be a major trauma centre. Glasgow and Edinburgh are too far away and for that to be the only option could mean lives lost. Not acceptable for Aberdeen to lose out on this.

As the host of the world's busiest civilian heliport and the gateway to the hazardous North Sea oil industry, it is imperative that Aberdeen has a major trauma centre.

The A.R.I. is ideally based, with it's heliport, to take on the challenge of a major trauma centre. That's why it is the best, most favourable location.

over quarter of a million people live in the northeast of Scotland. This plan would leave them without effective access to crucial care when most needed.

With Glasgow and Edinburgh being less than 45 miles apart ,surely, one in that locale and one in Aberdeen to cover the huge geographic area north of say Dundee.
