ARI is geographically positioned to cover the North East and Highlands and Islands, and the North Sea. Questionning it NOT being a major trauma centre is ridiculous and dangerous.

The snp say we should be independent because everything is centralised in London. But they want to centralise everything in Edinburgh/Glasgow. When you live in the north it's difficult to see the difference!

How can you possibly consider centralising trauma centres so that there are two for the whole country only 42 miles apart and nothing for the rest of the population? It is a disgrace.

The north of Scotland is already suffering from deteriorating health care service and difficulty artracting staff. We need and deserve, given we pay our taxes, to have a trauma centre locally. Time and service saves lives!

It is unrealistic to make all in need of a Trauma Unit from Aberdeen and the rest of the North East as far as Orkney and Shetland, to go to Glasgow /Edinburgh it is too far. How many dangerously ill people would survive that journey and the time it takes.

Aberdeen urgently require a trauma centre due to the amount of surrounding areas that depend on the hospital
