It may only serve 25% of the population but if you are one of the 25% it is a very important facility. There is a lot of expertise in many different types of emergency medicine due to its location. Centralisation of services by the Scottish Government is not appropriate when we are talking about peoples lives.

Concentrating this type of care within 100-150 miles of eachother is not a good idea as tat the back there is the north and all the islands to serve!

Definitely required to serve the North of Scotland, not just the central belt, but also requires investment in staff and incentive to move here, otherwise the service could not be provided.

When will the central belt bias end? Thought the SNP represented the whole of Scotland. The North East Orkeny Shetland and Highlands deserve this unit and the truth is the expertise is already here.

A vital service required for the North East, Highlands and Islands. Aberdeen should be given a chance to prove them as a center of excellence.

Not only does it serve Aberdeen and the surrounding area, but also the majority of the Offshore North Sea Work Force. ARI should be a major trauma centre without doubt there is a necessity for it to be one.

I think it's desperately needed to serve the north east, highlands and islands. Where as the two planned are serving one area on each others doorsteps. No sense.
