We have to stop this SNP Government centralising everything in Edinburgh. Aberdeen and the North East has lost too many vital services already with no regard for the people.

It is imperative that Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has a Major Trauma Centre as it is difficult enough, within a rural area, to reach this hospital in good time, let alone one in the central belt.

The effect of moving to two trauma centres will be that family and friends will not be able to visit there loved ones at times of great stress for the family and this will impact recovery and have adverse financial consequences for families at times of great stress.

Aberdeen is a major centre of population, a long way away from Scotland's central belt. This has very obvious implications for trauma treatment.

We have world class medical and scientific people here and a population just as deserving of top class care as those in the central belt. We should not be an afterthought.

Absolutely need this as one of the major trauma units. It covers such a vast area. It would be disastrous if this were lost.

Downgrading would be an injustice to the communities serviced by ARI. The staff here are well trained to service critically ill patients.

This is an appalling disservice to the communities in the North East and the Northern Isles. Again the forgotten corner.

The reality is that a unit in Aberdeen could be the difference between life and death! Clearly the North of Scotland needs a trauma unit.

I think Aberdeen should stay as a major trauma centre as Edinburgh and Glasgow are too far away.

Aberdeen should be made a trauma centre.Scotland covers a large area and the people living north of Edinburgh/Glasgow are not being considered fairly.Time travelling to the central belt could be the difference between life and death.
