People need to realise that not having a Trauma Centre in the North East will cost the lives of our family and friends. Even those who survive a serious accident will be in Edinburgh or Glasgow so visiting them will mean a very lengthy journey. The SNP care for nothing North of Tayside

Aberdeen should be a major trauma centre, as the others are too far away from the North East of Scotland

Such a huge rural area, our trauma sites are busy. If only to be 2 then why not have one south and one north for the whole of Scotland.

There is more to Scotland than Glasgow and Edinburgh and people should have the right to be treated closer to home and family.

I do hope Nicola Sturgeon or any members of her party are not injured in a helicopter crash en route to campaign in Shetland and have to wait to be airlifted to Glasgow or Edinburgh--or a school bus crashes in Caithness and children have to be similarly transferred for treatment or yet another major north sea oil disaster which requires the same emergency response

Without this, Aberdeen's status as a teaching hospital is diminished which will lead to an even quicker run down of facilities which in turn will have repercussions for patient safety and wellbeing across the north of Scotland. It will also cause greater suffering for not only the patients but also for family and friends who need to visit and support the patients. Can't believe ( actually, it is becoming more and more obvious) that the SNP hold all of us north of Central Belt in such callous contempt.

This is so important for the people of the North East of Scotland, far to many people could die without this resource in the area
