Two trauma centres in central belt doesn't make sense. Makes far more sense to have one in the north and one in the south for the people of Scotland to access without additional stress and hassle at a time when they need as much help and support they can get. ARI does a great job let's keep it that way!

The people of the North East deserve quality care

25 % Of the Scottish Population live in the North of Scotland. We deserve equality and equity of service. It is imperative that a full range of NHS services are provided to sustain a university teaching hospital in the North of Scotland.

Two centres one in Edinburgh & one in Glasgow leaving 25% of the population without direct access to a major trauma centre makes no sense. It is a further example of SNP centralisation of Scotland. If two centres are required they should be geographically separate. The numbers arguement cannot be used as a reason for two centres in the central belt. Recruitment and retention of staff and future preservation of services in Aberdeen will be a major problem if MTC status is not granted. Failure to properly recognise and resource the trauma workload in Aberdeen will be a further consequence if Aberdeen is not designated as a MTC.

This has huge ramifications for Grampian Health Health Board, the people of Grampian and wider and Aberdeen Medical School. Recruitment and retention is a huge issue for the city and the shire across all areas of healthcare. If you want to destroy the area further go ahead you are already making a good job of it.

SNP going back on their word again!! It's a disgrace that everything should be centralised in the Central belt!! We in the North East are entitled to the same care!!

This is a vital service and this service needs to be kept so there is an even distribution of services.

We are entitled to the same care as other parts of Scotland. The first hours of a critical injury is crucial.!!!

You are risking peoples lives but not including Aberdeen ARI as part of the trauma centre.

Absolute lunacy to only have central belt with major trauma centres. Sturgeon if you are unfortunate enough to come to harm while in the NE of Scotland, Edinburgh or Glasgow would seem an awful long way away. The oil industry is slowly being killed by political games, let's not do the same to the people.

It's wrong to concentrate major trauma centres in the central belt. The whole country must be included if lives are not to be lost.

ARI has been the top hospital in Scotland, it would be a terrible loss to patients if the Trauma Centre was to be based in the Central belt

We need to be one of the major centres cause there is nothing else up this way north Scotland. We must be one of the major trauma centres.

If there are to be 2 centre they should be north and central, not 2 forty miles apart, makes no sense. Also, keeping trauma part of the north east is essential to the maintenance of Aberdeen as a tertiary centre in future, or we'll all be going to the central belt for all tertiary services, also it seems sensible in terms of North Sea and mountain based trauma. It's interesting that Edinburgh based clinicians are interested in a 2 centre model, 40 miles apart? An independent view from people with no self interest is required.

Do they realise the geographical distance. No idea No understanding. No empathy. And they definately have no clue.
