This petition needs to be supported. Too much is being centralised.

We cannot let NE Scotland be ignored in favour of the Central Belt. Scottish Government beware of Scotland becoming "fat around the middle".

It is ludicrous not to have ARI as a major centre for trauma given that one of the worlds most dangerous and volatile industries is based there. Victims of an offshore disaster might not survive having to travel to central Scotland

What about the golden hour for receiving life saving treatment.

It would be ridiculous to base both these centres in the central belt. It should be one in the north and one in the south. Central belt bias once again just like the Police/Fire/Ambulance control rooms. Scotland does exist above Dundee though the SNP do not seem to think that.

Nearest trauma centre 120 miles away? No thanks.

Trauma needs immediate and appropriate treatment not three hour delays to reach central belt.

The North and North East of Scotland need a Major Trauma Centre. The negative effects of ARI not being granted MTC status will reach far beyond not just being able to treat trauma patients.

its a disgrace that the ARI which is located in the oil capitol of Europe
does not have its own trauma centre

Aberdeen needs this trauma centre. They certainly do not need two within a short distance of each other, namely Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Trauma centres should not be solely a central belt resource!

What about all the people who would have to travel from the islands - Aberdeen is far enough, let alone having to go further.

This is an essential service for North East Scotland in delivering the best healthcare locally.

Show compassion to the people of the North east of Scotland and surrounding area. Too long a journey to Edinburgh and Glasgow. They are two close together to best serve the people of Scotland.
