ARI needs to be one of the four major centres in Scotland. It is a fantastic hospital, and if it does not get this centre, lots of patients will die, as time is important, and we have the expertise here.

A promise is a promise. This trauma centre is a most for people of the north east. Lives will be lost I'd these centres are just located in the central belt

A vital resource in the North East!

People in the North of Scotland have seen many services and facilities relocated to the Central Belt resulting in poorer services in this area. No trauma centre would be a very serious mistake affecting treatment of very sick patients, as it would be much more difficult to attract experts to this area.

when will the SNP stop leaving North Scotland out of their plans for everything. We desperately need a trauma centre in Aberdeen and surely one in Edinburgh OR Glasgow will cover South Scotland. The sooner the better .

Once again north Scotland is being left out of the SNP plans. If you require a 'trauma' visit you cannot wait until you reach the Central Belt to get treatment. I hope that everyone remembers this and other 'promises' when it comes to voting in May.

ARI must have this facility

I can not believe that anyone thinks it is feasible to transport severely injured patients from Aberdeen or even further away to Edinburgh or Glasgow. ARI, its staff and the people of the North-East deserve your support.

Sounds like as Scotland lost out in many things to England we are now going to lose out to Central Belt come on SNP be fair to the North of Scotland!

I am a BASICS Dr. in Northants surrounded by 3 major trauma centres. Travelling from NE Scotland to Edinburgh is ridiculously too long even on the days when a Helimed can fly

It would be shameful if the SNP were not to keep their word to establish this trauma centre in Aberdeen. If they do not keep their word over this, what chance of believing their word on anything else.

Essential to the wellbeing of the North of Scotland, plus so many essential facilities are close to one another at this site already.

The SNP deny that they are centralising NHS services to the central belt. They can prove it by keeping their promise of 2014 to establish a major trauma centre in Aberdeen, thus serving 25% of the Scottish population.

The trauma centre in Aberdeen is absolutely essential to the north east of Scotland.

Typical central belt bias. ARI used to be a flagship hospital. Let's make it one of the best again.

Essential for ARI which serves everyone north of Dundee. Aberdeen is Oil Capital of Europe and also serves most of North Sea Oil operations where traumas could be horriffic e.g. Piper Alpha disaster.

Absolutely essential for all north of Dundee where around 30 per cent of Scottish population live. One between Glasgow and Edinburgh would suffice there when one considers the relatively short distance between those two cities if cost is a problem. Why should the rest of us be treated as second class citizens???
