Ridiculous.

Edinburgh and Glasgow are next door to each other, both in the far south. The northern part of Scotland also needs a major trauma centre, and Aberdeen - which was always at the 'cutting edge' of medicine - is the obvious candidate.

What nonsense even to consider doing this.

Aberdeen needs its own trauma centre not one based in the central belt.

Would take away medical expertise from everywhere North of Glasgow/Edinburgh in Scotland. Facilities /financial resources are already too Central Belt oriented . Regards, Peter J L Robinson

Not only does ARI support North Scotland, there is also the support required for the Offshore Industry in this vital area of Medicine

ARI saved my life when I was 20. Broken femur and severed artery, a 20 mile ambulance drive to ARI and touch and go survival never mind keeping my leg, which I did. Thank you everyone at ARI. It could be you or someone you love next. MTC in Aberdeen please!!!!!!!!

It is critical to healthcare in the North East that this center stays in Aberdeen

ARI is a major hospital covering the north of Scotland. It provides a first class service and attracts consultants who are foremost in their field. If we do not get this centre it will affect the recruitment of the most talented doctors which will have a detrimental effect on patient care and could lose lives.

The North and North-East of Scotland needs this centre. The Scottish Government should realise this.

It makes no sense to have 2 trauma centres in central belt and none further north where we will have to travel for nearly 3 hours to get there. This is not a fair or equal share of healthcare. Come on Alex Salmond, speak up for your constituents and their area.

It is essential that ARI remains at the cutting edge. It has a large hinterland and everything does not have to happen in the Central Belt nor should it.

Why has everything to be located in the central belt. Aberdeen is an ideal location for a trauma centre. Glasgow or Edinburgh but not both, both are located in the central belt.

This centre is essential for saving lives in this area.
