There is no doubt that a centre must be built in Aberdeen, not only to serve the North East of Scotland but also to serve the oil and gas sector onshore and offshore

The North East deserve the same treatment as the rest of Scotland. You are putting people's lives at risk.

Tell someone needing rushed to hospital that they'll have to travel a couple of hundred extra miles to A&E. Does this really make sense?

The citizens of North East Scotland deserve to be treated to the same level of services as those in the Central Belt. Waken up SG, Scotland consists of much more than the Central Belt.

It is really important Aberdeen retains and improves on it's existing nhs services. The north of Scotland also deserves specialist healthcare not just the central belt

IF this is agreed a large swathe of Sotland will be left without the required cover.
Scotland DOES extend beyond the central belt.

As we here so often Aberdeen The Oil Capital Of Europe let's see the Trauma Unit opening at ARI and not having to travel to Glasgow or Edinburgh for medical facilities very much required in Aberdeen covering the North East and the Highlands and Islands

What a daft idea, everyone north of the central belt with a major trauma has to travel down south? Would also add a possibly fatal extra hour or so to the flight time for a lot of folk offshore if they have an injury requiring a trauma centre. Worth bearing in mind in a couple of weeks imho.

How ridiculous to even think of NOT having a trauma centre in Aberdeen.
Not only do patients who have suffered a major trauma require quick access to excellent medical care, they need to be near their family and friends as good contact with these greatly contribute to recovery and in turn reduced need for NHS services in the long run.

Edinburgh and Glasgow are in the lowlands. At least one, maybe two are surely needed for the rest of the country.

People will die if no trauma centre at ARI
