It is absolutely unacceptable for the Scottish Government to even think about having only two trauma centres in Scotland, both in the Central Belt, leaving the rest of Scotland uncovered.

Why are we always left out? Aberdeen is the Oil Capital in Scotland yet always forgotten. We need a major trauma centre in Aberdeen purely for oil workers in North Sea and everyone else living in Aberdeen. Get a grip Scottish Government

Please ensure that, if we can make this happen, it has sufficient guaranteed long term funding. Thanks

If ARI does not get MTC status it would appear greater value/importance placed on Central belt lives than us Northerners

The SNP are only concerned with the Central Belt. Anyone suffering major trauma north of that doesn't seem to matter.

I am sure a trauma unit would be a great asset, if not a necessity in this geographical area, particularly as the politicians are bending over backwards to increase the population.

It makes geographical sense to have ARI become a trauma centre in Scotland. Plus, we are one of the few hospitals in Europe that can boast about having all specialties on site . This should be a no brainer !
