We must not place all such centres in the central belt. ARI serves a huge area and e need this facility.

Just typical these days everything to be centralised to the central belt. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN for the good of everyone health's in this area.

It is madness to think of have our trauma unit a few hundred miles away. How much more deaths will there be?

This centre must stay in Aberdeen to cover the north of Scotland. The central belt should not be allowed to have the only two centres for the whole of Scotland!

With the offshore industry and the roads and idiots on them we need something like a trauma centre for quick treatment instead of travelling hundreds of miles

Is this another example where the Cost Benefit Analysis calculations that our country's decision makers like to rely on severely impact on spending and infrastructure development outwith the central belt. Yes we have a smaller populace in the North East but the cost of not going ahead with this is with lives and livelihoods.

As a strong snp voter I would find it difficult to continue voting snp if my city does not become a major trauma centre

I attend the ARI on a regular basis and would hate to see everything moved to the central belt, unfair on patients having to travel for treatment at a time when they need family and friends around. I had to go to Edinburgh for a kidney transplant, at one time this would have been done here in Aberdeen.

Extremely concerned that seriously ill patients would have to travel great distances to be treated when others throughout Scotland will have a Trauma facility closeby. North East Scotland, NHS Grampian, patients will be seriously disadvantaged and may be in grave danger if Trauma treatment is not available in this area.

There is more to Scotland than the central belt. It is unreasonable to move people so far from their homes for treatment, where it would be much more difficult for friends and family to visit and support them. Have the mortality figures been assessed for time to get people to the right facilities? Have all the patient transportation costs been considered?

I feel very strongly about the decision to deny the residents of NE Scotland this major facility. It is scandalous to withhold this Trauma Centre.
